CM411 Christian Leadership
COURSE DESCRIPTION
CM411 Christian Leadership is a study of the biblical principles, historical roots, theoretical development and practical expression of the leadership concept in both secular institutions and religious organizations.
COURSE RATIONALE
So, why do smart people sometimes lead poorly? Leadership is a challenge. Organizations can rise or fall on leadership. What leaders do and say can be described as a domino line. One action can intentionally and unintentionally set in motion reactions and effects that have a major impact, both good and bad. Leadership is often multi-leveled, multidimensional, played in different keys, utilizing multiple lenses, and painted with more than the eight-pack of Crayola crayons. It's both simple and complex which requires leadership "simplexity." It often requires seeing around corners, through walls, and on different floors all at the same time.
